At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – define biogenic elements and present their basic role in the formation of organic compounds – explain the meanings of the terms "macro-elements", "trace elements" and "ultra-trace elements" and present examples of the biological significance of these elements- discuss the most important properties of water (from a biological point of view) and their significance in the world of living organisms.
